Some Blackboard courses use browser plug-ins. To view portions of these sites, you may need one or more of the plug-ins listed below.
We have added a software plug-in checker for your convenience. Please click the link below to check your web browser or browsers for the necessary plug-ins. For best results follow the directions closely.
Students
can access the CE6 platform through a web browser such as Mozilla,
Safari or Internet Explorer. Most of the CE6 software you will use
resides on a CE6 server (a central host computer). However, you will
also use other applications that reside on your own computer, such as
word processing or presentation programs.
CE6
does not currently support Microsoft Internet Explorer 8. In order to
use "IE8" with CE6, please click on the link below for a tutorial on
how to enable "Compatibility View".
If you are encountering issues with CE6 while
working within a course, the best action to take first is trying a
different Internet Browser. Windows based PCs come with Internet
Explorer. Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari are two options for
additional browsers. OS X based Macintosh Computer come installed with
Safari for the default browser. Mozilla Forefox has a Mac version of
their browser for an alternative.
