Many online classes have at least one proctored exam, although some classes have more than one proctored exams. This is an exam that you take at one of the on campus labs. You instructor will give you the date range for the exam and you will need to make an appointment with the lab of your choice. If do not useone of Edison State College testing sites, you will need to find a suitable proctor and have your instructor approve the proctor in advance of your exam.
You should make your exam preparations early and plan to arrive well in advance of your scheduled exam time. Your instructor will provide you with the details and policies that you must follow for your exam. You will also need to bring photo ID on the day of the test.
Your class may also have other classes or quizzes that you take at home. Once you open the exam, you should complete it right away. You should never use the "Back" button or navigate outside of the test as it may result in your test results being lost.
